I would just like to offer a tip that I've heard on TV for cleaning the microwave. They say to boil some water in there first to get everything all steamy and softened up. Then it's supposed to be a cinch to wipe right off. I say supposed to because mostly I'm lucky and have everyone here trained to cover things when they microwave them, and I've never actually tried this. Of course, now that you've got the new scrubbies, you won't need to either.

I also want to say that your blog is very pretty!

Re: a nice surprise

I hate cleaning my bathroom and my microwave. And...both need some major cleaning as I write this. But as I do most things these days, I put it off until I absolutely have to do it. I am knitting some washcloths just like these. These pictures motivate me to get them finished.

Re: a nice surprise

Cool - I noticed yesterday that my microwave needs cleaning. Could she get those shipped up her in time for my in-laws visit tomorrow? No? Darn - I guess good ol' elbow grease will have to do for now.
